Hi! How are YOU doing. Let us know how you're doing right here, right now. You have one song, so make it count, k?

How do I
Get through one night without you
If I had to live without you
What kind of life would that be?
Oh I need you in my arms
Need you to hold
Your my world my heart my soul
If you ever leave
Baby you'd take away everything good in my Life.

And tell me now
How do I live without you
I want to know
How do I breathe without you
If you ever go
How do I ever, ever survive?
How do I
How do I
O how do I live?.

Without you
There'd be no sun in my sky
There would be no love in my life
There would be no world left for me
And I
Baby I don't know what I would do
I would be lost if I lost you
If you ever leave
Baby you would take away everything real in My life

And tell me now
How do I live without you
I want to know
How do I breathe without you
If you ever go
How do I ever ever survive?
How do I
How do I
O how do I live?...

Please tell me baby..

How do I go on?
If you ever leave
Well baby you would take away everything
Need you with me
Baby don't you know your everything good in My life

And tell me now
How do I live without you
I want to know
How do I breathe without you
If you ever go
How do I ever, ever survive?
How do I
How do I
O how do I live

How do I live without you
How do I live without you baby.......
How do I live....

Hey, why you so sad? Do you like the Leann Rimes version better? I know I do. *wink*

I actually prefer Trisha Yearwood's version, she is the one who won a Grammy, is she not? As for my current mood, I ... miss someone dearly.

Oh Gyrl, I can relate to that. Who left you? Died? Or just left?

If you must know and insist on discussing this topic, I'm the one who left.

We don't have to talk about that or anything if you don't want to. I just thought you looked sad and could use a shoulder. *shrugs* But since you're the one that walked, is there any chance you can tell him you messed up and want him back?

Date: 2009-03-02 01:58 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] sand-andwater.livejournal.com
No. You see, I'm not certain that I did 'mess up' as you so eloquently put it. Certain ... things happened and leaving is what I needed to do. It's regrettable and unfortunate and most definitely not what I wanted for us, but I can see no other way things could have played out.

Then call him. Ask him what up, you know? See where his head is at in all of this. Don't waste your time sitting around mourning if there's no real reason too.

There's plenty of reason. I do still love him, I likely always will. I don't need to be with him to do that. Ro isn't the sort of man you move on from or get over or simply put out of your mind. Neither is what we had together.

Besides, it would be grossly unfair of me to bring any of this to him right now, he has enough on his plate at the moment. I won't be a burden to him.

Oh, so you enjoy sitting in the corner and mourning. I hear you. *nods*

So aside from this Ro character, what else are you into?

From: [identity profile] sand-andwater.livejournal.com
I do not enjoy...oh, never mind. It's complicated. And personal.

He is not a character. Of all the...

I'm a gaffer, I make glass. I also sit as a model for a photographer friend of mine. I really don't have time for much else.

*laughs* Aren't you a bit touchy. Okay Gyrl. Relax. I'm not the enemy. I won't ask about your Ro anymore. Subject closed.

*waves off the subject*

Is it nude modeling or not? I know more artist types than *finger quotes* "regular" people.

You make glass? That's cool. What's your specialty?

I do both for Marcello, some of his shots are strictly for print work, others are to build his personal portfolio and those do veer more towards the artistic and creative than the 'for hire' jobs he takes to pay the bills.

I've been trained by a maestro in Murano, so I suppose that could be considered my specialty. For the most part, I do make hand-blown vessels and sculpture but lately I am taking a new approach and trying my hand at sand casting. The signore is rather displeased with me for that, apparently it is beneath me to resort to using a mold even it it's one I've created myself.

That's great, Gyrl.

I don't know much about your craft, but I can appreciate the finished product. So what's sand casting v.s. what you normally do?

And did you say, "signore"? Who's he?

Date: 2009-03-02 05:03 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] sand-andwater.livejournal.com
Signore, Alessandro. The maestro I mentioned, I've always tended to refer to him by title over name given our age difference.

Sand casting is where you use wet sand, sculpted into a form or mold, and pour the flux (molten glass) into it to cool and set. I suppose some people view it as cheating or giving up a certain amount of control in the final look of the piece but I have my reasons for wanting to use this method of sculpting here. What I typically do, or have done in the past, is work with gathers of flux on a pontil, which is a hollow steel rod, and through spinning and blowing I would shape and form the glass that way.

In either case, I mix the silica myself to make the flux and I still make use of other tools to refine and contort the glass, adding detail or taking it away.

And now that I've gone on and on about myself, what is it that you do?

*clearly interested in the explanation*

Wow, is that a gas. See, I always envisioned it as the blowing and pontil thing. I had no idea about the whole sand bit.I don't think it's cheating. You're still creating something out from your soul through a medium. It rocks.

Me? Singer, club promoter and talent manager, and sometimes bouncer. I'm a jackie of all trades in the music world. I'm not a day person obviously.

That I most certainly am.

Before returning to Venice I was more of a night person myself and somewhat more immersed in the music world as well. I'm not certain that I miss it.

Phillipa Kerr. Most people call me Pippa.

Pippa? That's cool Gyrl! That's your birth name I take it?

It is, yes. Why wouldn't it be?

Stage names. Lots of artists have them.

From: [identity profile] sand-andwater.livejournal.com
I'm not that sort of artist.

From: [identity profile] deas-kids.livejournal.com
Like there's only ONE type of artist that does that? Gyrl, not everyone was born with a cool name like Pippa. Not just strippers and singers do it. Hell, I changed my name when I was five.

Your parents were cool and didn't give you a crappy name.
