I guess I just got on a creative kick and forgot about everything else. I've been in my glass studio a lot more and Last Call a lot less.

*grins* Creative's good. I actually bit the bullet and moved myself back to New York. It's been kinda hectic getting everything settled. But it's moving along. Having a housewarming party in a couple weeks for all the New York friends.

Ro helped his dad's girlfriend move into his sister's (I know, confusing) a couple of weeks ago. She's a nice woman, I think. Though she has the foulest mouth...

I don't want to say it was spur of the moment, because I'd been considering it for a while. But I had some time off, so I decided to come out and look at apartments and I found the perfect one. Great location, rent's phenomenal, and the view is amazing. Seemed like a sign, so I signed a lease and told my landlord in LA I wasn't reupping.

Waited to tell my brother until I actually settled things and moved out here. *shrugs* Serves him right. He didn't bother to tell me he was seeing anyone and engaged even, until a month before the wedding. It's coming up end of June.

And your boyfriend's father's girlfriend is living with your boyfriend's sister? That's...so awkward. I would think, anyway. And foul mouth? *laughs* This is New York, she'll fit right in.

Cait and Abby are pretty close in age so I guess it's not that weird. Cait owns her condo and wanted a roommate, Abby needed a place to live and I think Ro's dad felt better with them together than both of them living with a stranger.

I don't know if I could ever live with someone. I like having personal space. And it's getting smaller because Mr. Beaker is getting so big.

Your brother didn't tell you he was engaged? I can't imagine...

I guess it makes sense. I don't know that I could with my father's girlfriend. Well, any of them. But that's a whole 'nother story.

And yeah, apparently he didn't want to jinx it by telling people about seeing her right away. And then he waited to tell me about the engagement so he could guilt trip me into going. He's my brother, and I wouldn't disappoint him on his big day, but I am so not looking forward to seeing my parents...former parents...whatever...again.

I don't even have a date yet, though I have been kind of seeing this guy. If we get to a third date, I think I'm going to ask him. *sighs* Okay, beg him.

I don't even know how many dates constitutes a relationship. Ro and I somewhat bypassed all of that because of knowing each other for so long. I think after the first time he kissed me, it pretty much sealed the deal on that one. Right there.

His name is Remy. He's quite the charmer, but he has a bit of a wild streak. He teaches French at a school for special kids. He also rides a motorcycle.

And I know what you mean about the kissing. *grins and bites her lip* Remy has quite a mouth on him.

We're going out for drinks tonight, since our last date...okay, technically it was our first date...was cut short on because he got called away on a family emergency.

I'm pretty sure it is that good, but I intend on doing a thorough evaluation. *grins* I'll let you know. Speaking of which, I should go make myself irresistible. I'll talk to you soon, and if you're free, you should come to my housewarming thing when I finally get everything settled enough to have one.
