The Character Physically

1. What is the character's stature and build? Is he overweight? Thin? What is his height and weight?

Pippa is 5’6 ½” and while her face is fairly full, she is rather slender. She has an hour glass figure that is more noticeable now than it had been prior to having a child, wider hips, larger bust. She’s also somewhat muscular, at least in her arms, due to her art.

2. How old is he?

Twenty-five

3. Describe his posture. Is it good? Does he carry himself well? Is he crooked? Straight?

Pippa, unless she is consciously trying to look relaxed, tends to stand and sit very straight. Her back rarely rests against the back of a chair. Part of this is from riding horses at a young age and the other is her upbringing to always ‘be a lady’.

4. Is he in good shape or out of condition? Is he muscularly weak or strong?

Her arms are toned between working with glass blowing tools (heavy metal rods and pipes) and carrying trays of drinks most nights of the week, she gets a bit of an upper body workout. She’s also a New Yorker. She walks most places.

She’s in good health.

6. Is he physically active or sedentary? A fast or slow mover?

Active enough and fast when she needs to be.

7. Is he clumsy, awkward, graceful?

Curves and flowing motion are part of Pippa’s grace and demeanor.

10. Is the character good-looking, pretty, beautiful, average, plain, ugly, disfigured?

Very pale, smooth skin, lightly freckled.

14. How is his usual dexterity? Does he have good hands: Can he do things? Is he a worker?

Pippa is very skilled with her hands. She can do fine lampworking with glass beading as well as the more complex, larger pieces that still require her hands to be in constant motion.
